PVC-free textile stretch ceilings
JM (Junkers & Müllers) fabrics and stretch ceilings are fully PVC-free, certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and REACH-compliant. Technical advice, samples and quotations for the Polish market are provided by 2K-Trade.
PVC-free material, energy-efficient production
Sustainable products and a smaller carbon footprint are core priorities for Junkers & Müllers. Every JM fabric is PVC-free, certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 in product class IV and compliant with the REACH regulation.
The official distributor of JM fabrics in Poland is 2K-Trade — supplying eco-friendly fabrics and ceilings for commercial projects and large-format printing.

Production
Junkers & Müllers keeps reinvesting in its plant to cut power use and lower its carbon output. A high-efficiency exhaust-air scrubber holds pollutant release far beneath the ceilings fixed by Germany's TA Luft clean-air rules. Manufacturing deliberately excludes dangerous inputs — no formaldehyde, no CFCs, no solvents, and none of the lead, cadmium or mercury compounds found in lesser cloth.
Products
Every JM cloth is free of PVC and holds the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 mark in class IV. Each also satisfies what the REACH chemicals framework demands. The behaviour of JM shading cloth measurably improves how a building manages heat and power. The range spans qualities tuned for ideal light and heat reflectance across virtually any interior use. That translates into a clear cut in heating and cooling bills. The PVC-free screen weaves tame glare while still letting daylight through. Technical advice, samples and quotations for the Polish market are provided by 2K-Trade.
JM energy policy — DIN EN ISO 50001
The aim behind the Junkers & Müllers power-management policy is to steadily lower gas, electricity and water draw, and the CO2 that comes with it. To this end, JM has implemented a certified energy management system in line with the DIN EN ISO 50001 standard, which covers the following elements:
- Measuring and monitoring energy consumption
- Continuous recording of energy flows
- Ongoing review of the energy efficiency of processes and activities
- Real-time energy monitoring that tunes consumption at the plant automatically
- Optimising energy consumption in production facilities to make energy losses visible and raise staff awareness
- Planning and implementing energy-saving measures
- Regular analysis and assessment of energy-saving measures
JM's energy policy covers every department, action and process in the company, with the participation of all employees and service providers.

For more than fifty years, the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 scheme has let textile makers put their goods forward for independent screening against the ecological criteria buyers actually care about.
Its "Textile Trust" mark is read across the globe as shorthand for accountable making — tracing a cloth from fibre to finished bolt. For consumers it is an important guide when making a choice. For a project team this removes a whole class of indoor-air risks before the fabric ever reaches site.

An SCS Indoor Advantage™ Gold mark shows that indoor-use cloth has been screened for the release of harmful compounds. Cloth that carries the SCS mark helps keep the air inside a room cleaner. In practice this means each JM fabric batch is tested against the emission limits listed below — a scope similar to what US buyers know as Greenguard.
Certification by SCS Global Services is based on emissions testing to the Californian CDPH Standard Method v1.2 (CA 01350). This standard is used worldwide and recognised by most building certification schemes (BREEAM, WELL). In Europe, the DIN EN ISO 16000-9 standard (new: DIN EN 16516) defines a comparable test, on which the DGNB and BREEAM schemes are based.

Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.
Across the EU, the REACH chemicals framework has bound every member state since June 2007. The REACH system is based on the principle of industry's own responsibility. Within its scope, and in accordance with the "no data, no market" principle, only those chemical substances that have been registered beforehand may be placed on the market. The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) publishes the so-called "candidate list", which names "substances of concern". Under the REACH regulation, every supplier must identify substances from the list in its documentation when their share exceeds 0.1% by weight of the entire product.
Junkers & Müllers cloth conforms to the current edition of the REACH framework.

A BRAMIDAN baler streamlines how Junkers & Müllers handles scrap and recovers raw material, in-house and downstream.

For specifiers, architects and fit-out contractors in Poland, the practical upshot is simple: a JM textile stretch ceiling or wall lets you hit demanding indoor-air and sustainability targets without compromise. Because every cloth is PVC-free and carries OEKO-TEX, SCS Indoor Advantage Gold and REACH credentials, it slots cleanly into BREEAM, WELL and DGNB documentation — the kind of evidence facility owners increasingly ask for in offices, hotels, clinics and public buildings. 2K-Trade, the Polish distributor, helps you pull the right certificate, sample and data sheet together for a tender or a green-building submission.
It also pays off in running costs. The light- and heat-reflectance behaviour of JM coated fabrics eases the load on heating and cooling, while the acoustic textile range lifts room comfort. We are happy to talk through which quality suits a particular glazing line, ceiling span or acoustic brief, and to arrange swatches so your team can judge colour and finish in real light before committing.

Questions buyers ask about green textile ceilings
Why choose a textile ceiling over a film one? A woven JM ceiling is breathable, PVC-free and acoustically active, which suits hospitality, healthcare and workplace interiors where indoor-air quality and quiet matter. Is it safe over occupied rooms? Yes — the cloth is low-emission and health-tested, with documentation a facilities team can hand straight to a green-building assessor. Can it be printed? Absolutely; JM digital print technology turns a ceiling into large-format, backlit or branded graphics without losing its eco credentials.
How do I specify it in Poland? Talk to 2K-Trade in Łódź. We send swatches and mock-ups, match the right quality to your acoustic, light or fire brief, prepare a clear quotation, and coordinate delivery from the German works. Which interiors does it suit? Open-plan offices, hotel lobbies and bedrooms, clinics and waiting rooms, restaurants, showrooms, museums and other public spaces where a clean, even, seamless finish is wanted. What about colour? A broad palette of matt, satin and translucent finishes is available, and we will get physical samples in front of your designer before anything is ordered.
Why partner with 2K-Trade in Poland
Buying premium German textile ceilings and fabrics through a local distributor takes the friction out of an import. With 2K-Trade you keep a single Łódź contact who speaks Polish, English and Russian, understands both the product and the paperwork, and stays with your project from first swatch to delivered order. No distant factory to chase, no language barrier on a technical query, and a partner who can pull certificates, data sheets and references together when a tender demands proof. That local presence, backed by JM's German engineering and sustainability record, is what makes the combination work for demanding interior projects.

How a typical specification unfolds
Most projects start with a brief — a quiet acoustic ceiling for a meeting suite, a seamless white expanse over a hotel lobby, or a bold printed graphic for a brand showroom. From that brief, 2K-Trade narrows the choice to the right woven quality, sends physical swatches so the designer can judge tone and texture in real daylight, and supplies the certificate pack the project needs. We then issue a clear quotation, confirm the production slot, and coordinate carriage from Mönchengladbach so the installer receives exactly what was specified, on schedule.
Along the way our team answers the practical questions that shape a sustainable interior: how a translucent membrane behaves with concealed lighting, how a baffle layout tunes reverberation in an open office, or how a printed ceiling keeps its eco rating. Because the same Łódź team carries the project from first conversation to delivered roll, nothing falls between distributor and factory — the buyer simply gets considered advice, honest lead times and dependable German-made material.
Sustainability as standard, not an option
